Why did you agree to serve on the Lucille Rader Education Foundation Board?
I agreed to serve on the Rader Foundation Board because of my
friendship with Lucille Rader and because I feel that team extra-curricular
commitments make for better citizens. Whether these activities
are limited to sports or embrace a wider spectrum such as newspaper
staff, drama production crew, any type of ensemble commitment
to produce something, improve something, compete at some level,
while adjusting to the dynamics of a team or group has a powerful
effect on the participants and usually always to the good of
the individuals and ultimately later to their communities.
